About Us
David Donnelly has been in the antique business for over 48 years. What began as a venture to furnish his first home mushroomed over time. Today, Donnelly’s Antiques is one of the largest sources in PA for antiques, collectibles, garden, and architectural treasures.
David’s merchandise runs the gamut from fine & fancy, to rough-but-ready –to-re-use. Over the years he has purveyed a wide assortment of toys, stained glass, furniture, vehicles, architectural elements, fountains, clocks, jewelry, coins, decorative accessories, and more.
Customers marvel at the fabulous finds discovered at Donnelly’s. Over the years, he’s sold the complete interior of a general store, a carousel rooster, life-size bronze lions removed from a bridge, an 8 ft. tall taxidermied bear, the staircase from a church, and many other intriguing objects.
With eight buildings and one huge yard packed with merchandise, you are sure to find something to embellish your home or garden.
Bridget Donnelly joined forces with her father in 2007, after running her own shop, 2nd Generation Antiques, in Boalsburg, PA for over a year. She closed it to concentrate on the demand for custom services.
Bridget now designs furniture and garden elements, and sources items to meet specific requests. She recently produced tables incorporating decorative iron fence, custom-sized farm tables out of reclaimed barn lumber, and over-scale iron armillaries for the garden.
Another gold-mine of treasures is Paper Americana – a division of Donnelly’s Antiques. Operating for over 20 years, Paper Americana has shelves of post cards, ephemera of all matter, PA history, non-fiction books, documents, deeds, pop culture, genealogy resources, maps and prints. We are members of the Ephemera Society, the International Society of Post Card Dealers and the Political Collectors Association.
Additionally, David Donnelly has been auctioneering since 1975. He is also a licensed appraiser, for estate, tax and insurance purposes.
